Increase Restaurant Sales Through Marketing

People are dining out more and more, there is a constant fight for customers not limited only to  regular restaurants, casual dining, quick service places, groceries stores and convenience stores, all aiming for the same customers from different angles. As we look for new ways to change the dining decisions across every occasions. Of the many marketing and advertising approaches  that can be use in a restaurant setting they can be resume in these four.

1.       Increase the number of your new customers.
It is not a secret that if you have a restaurant you also need customers to succeed. However maintaining a steady income of new customers is the hard part, but it provides growth potential. This can be achieved by different tactics like targeted emails, mobile applications, social media presence and detailed web page and direction. If you are relying on a company to maintain this database be sure they are working with valid email addresses that can help you reach your desired targeted audience.

2.       Increase the frequency in which regular customers go to your restaurant .
You need to keep those new customers coming back often. This can be accomplished by providing an engaging experience both inside and outside the restaurant, great service, great food, great value and atmosphere. They all contribute to the restaurant experience.
Outside the restaurant you need to engage your customers and keep them informed of the restaurant news. Send them email newsletters, keep your social media active by posting offers and photos of food and drinks of your restaurant. Keep active in your community, change it up a little bring live music or show the work of a local artist in the restaurant.

3.       Increase customer spending.
This is not to put higher prices on your dishes for no reason, this is to offer more options to your customers. Make sure your servers push the meals that creates a higher value and revenue for the restaurant, and therefore making your customers spend a little more.

4.       Increase the table turn over.
A full restaurant is no good if the same customer spends 8 hours sitting in one table ordering only one plate. You are not meant to rushed them, it means your staff should appropriately handle your tables and traffic.

You should consider the following in a full service restaurant:
a.         Are checks being presented and collected in a timely fashion?
b.         Are the tables being bused and reset as soon as the customers leave?
c.         Does your restaurant have enough tables for large groups and parties?
